To start, have you said “rad” yet today?

Anyway, Girl Talk is a pretty popular dude right now. A former desk jockey in Pittsburgh, I’m pretty sure he’s quit his day job because he’s in high demand.

His third LP dropped about 2 months ago and if you need a background, he is a mashup DJ. He is the mashup DJ, if you ask me. He crams samples and tracks into 1 song better than Pert Plus crams conditioner into their shampoo. His last album took a noticeable change as he said that he wanted to let key samples stretch out a bit more than they have in Night Ripper and Unstoppable.

In Wired Magazine, they produced a graphic to show his track “What’s it all about” showing the 35 samples he uses. Check out this picture below, click for the full size or visit it at Wired.
