first two weeks in review

As you read on the first day post, I didn’t do as well as I had hoped. That changed by day 3, where the kids showed their love for me screaming my name whenever they saw me. I have now taught songs to kids of all ages that don’t make a lot of sense but teach them a new word or two along the way. In between classes, I stand out in the hall and mingle with the students. Today, in addition to my group of 3rd graders who spar with me, I had a little fan club surrounding me petting my arm hair and pretending to call me on their bananas.
